"Día de Los Muertos"

Each October the streets of downtown San Pedro swell with people eager to observe the annual Day of the Dead or Día de Los Muertos Holiday. Organized by the San Pedro's Business Improvement District, PBID this festival brings up to 10,000 to our community each year and about 1,000 through our garden gates.

This year we will be open from 2pm-6pm to offer the Spiritual side of marking the day of the dead which is tied to the Christian tradition of All Saint's Day. As in years past we will offer the opportunity for visitors to write names of loved ones on the brick wall, draw pictures and leave names on ribbon tied to curly willow branches.

While we can't be open for regular services we are proud to provide the opportunity for people to remember their loved ones at this time of year when the space between the living and the dead seems thin.

Come as you are, stay as you are able.

In Faith,

Rev. Amanda

Sunday 2pm-6pm
