"Hope is on the Way"

Writer's picture: The Garden ChurchThe Garden Church

I wa

nt to begin by thanking everyone who supported The Garden Church this giving Tuesday. We came in just $148 shy of our goal for the year. If you didn't get a chance to give you can donate here. If you missed this year's video you can find it here. We have run this annual campaign for many years and it is always so heartening to each time we see annual supporters and brand new supporters. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for remembering the mission of the Garden. Church in your seasonal giving.

From the Interfaith Service of Gratitude to Giving Tuesday, November has been a month of gratitude concluding today with a Harbor Connects event being held in Wilmington today. And now Christmas is on the way! This coming Sunday is the Annual Holiday Parade for San Pedro. Feed and be Fed and The Garden Church will be marching! Keep an eye out for our group in the parade which takes place from 1pm-3pm and passes right by The Garden. Wagons are being decorated tomorrow during Little Sprouts, feel free to come by and pitch in!

This Sunday we begin the Advent Season with the theme of Hope. All are Welcome as we begin this annual journey to Christmas together.

In Faith,

Rev. Amanda

What We mean when We say All Are Welcome:

At The Garden Church we intentionally welcome all. We do this without requiring adherence to any religious belief or creed. We foster a climate of purposeful inclusion, an environment where all can feel safe, valued, cared for, and given an opportunity to form meaningful connections with the Divine and each other. We cherish the diversity of humanity, a diversity which includes differences in sex, age, race, ethnicity, and national origin, range of abilities, sexual orientation, gender identity, financial means, education, and political perspective.

We are also a member Congregation of the Pacific Coast Association of the Swedenborgian Church of North America
