This week it feels like summertime is kicking into gear. Feed and be Fed welcomed a garden intern from EXP. The weather is heating up and the tomatoes are finally getting color on them. This Friday's farmer's market should be the yummiest yet!
On the church side the clergy from the denomination are gathering in East Lansing, MI today for the annual Council of Ministers Meeting which is being held ahead of Annual Convention for the Swedenborgian Church of North America. Rev. Dave, Pastor Connie and I will join the meetings remotely beginning at 6am tomorrow morning! Tomorrow evening the Annual Convention will open for all delegates and clergy. Please hold the body in your prayers as they gather in person and virtually for this annual event.
This Sunday in the garden we will continue our annual sermon series on the Lord's prayer with the line "Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil." We will reflect on Jesus' temptation in the wilderness and alongside our own struggles and sincere prayer to be spared from evil in this world. All Are welcome to our Sunday Rhythm in the garden.
