Congratulations Connie! This past Sunday was an extraordinary day at The Garden Church. We were blessed to hold a consecration service for our very own Connie McOsker who is now known to us as Pastor Connie. Connie will continue to work alongside Rev. Dave and myself on the pastoral staff of the Garden Church. It was an incredible blessing to be surrounded by so many members, and friends of The Garden Church. This community is blessed in so many ways by a rich network of caring people. Thank you all for being part of this community.
This week we are kicking off a new sermon series titled "We: Created for Community." Over the next several weeks we will dive into scripture focused on community, grounding our selves in God's word as we seek to grow together in faith. This Sunday we will gather after our community meal for a discussion around the community meal looking at questions around the purpose and goal of our community meal time. We expect the meeting to begin at about 6pm in the garden following the community meal and clean up of the garden.
