Celebrating 9 years!

Yesterday marked 9 years since our founding Pastor Rev. Anna Woofenden first opened the gates and welcomed the community into begin a communal garden. At the time the lot was empty save for cigaret butts and broken glass. The first team (some of whom are still around!) stuffed burlap tubes with straw to make the first raised beds in our garden. At first we were a 3 month pop-up garden. Today we are a church. We have been making church together for 9 years in this one space. We are grateful for God's provision over these last 9 years and we look forward to see what the future holds.

This Sunday we will gather for our usual Sunday Rhythm with 3pm work together, 4pm worship together and 5pm Eat Together. We are continuing our sermon series on trees with leaves and buds. Reflecting together on the promise trees with buds bring, and the power of leaves.

We are looking forward to marking this anniversary with time together in the garden including worship and our community meeting which includes an opportunity for membership. We hope you can join us this Sunday.

In Faith,

Rev. Amanda
