While the rest of the country is having a mild fall we are enjoying chilly days and rain is beginning to creep into the forecast. In the garden, the cool fall weather is enjoyed by plants and people alike. The pepper plants continue to produce and the chayote squash has been the latest fall crop to come into season.
The feed and be fed farm space continues to increase production thanks to young adult interns who are part of the farming the future program funded by a grant from the California Department of Agriculture.
At church we're continuing or sermon series on Resilient Faith. This week we're spending time with Psalm 30 and Hebrews 12. Honoring Indigenous People's Month, we'll read our new testament text from First Nations Version: An Indigenous Translation of the New Testament. We hope you can join us in the garden Sunday.
In Faith,
Rev. Amanda
