Water from Rock

It was lovely to be back in the garden for another week with the cooler temperatures. This year our loofa has climbed all the way to the top of the red (East) wall! It's amazing to see what one small seed can do. Thinking about small seeds, each time we're open we are planting and nurturing seeds. Both literal seeds and seeds of community, faith, hope and caring. Every time the garden is open we are learning from one another and God's creation and growing in faith and love of the Lord.
This Sunday we're continuing in our Season of Creation with a reading from Exodus in which the children of Israel ask Moses for water in the wilderness. Join us as we reflect on water and the role it plays in our every day life and the world more generally. From a cup of water to streams, rivers, lakes oceans, rain and snow water is everywhere. 71% of our earth's surface is water and 60% of our bodies is also water. Water is both essential for life and powerful in and of itself. We hope you can join us for our weekly Sunday rhythm.
In Faith,
Rev. Amanda
