Hope of Reconciliation

The week of hot weather finally took a break and we are all grateful for the relief.
This past Sunday was the beginning of the cool off and church was hopping. We had prayer stations (pictures below) in place of the sermon, and we welcomed 3 new members! It was such a gift to be together in the garden again.
This coming Sunday we're looking forward to presenting Maia Luna with her Bible. Over the past year she has become a stronger reader and is ready for this next step in her faith journey. Her older sister Leia and church member Lelia received their bibles a few years ago and now it's Maia's turn. Our church community is excited to celebrate with her.
Also this weekend is the annual Pacific Coast Association Meeting. This is an annual gathering of the Swedenborgian Churches on the West Coast and in New Mexico. This year's event is being held in the Bay Area. Rev. Dave will be present in person to represent our church. I will join online of the hybrid portion of the meeting. We have an exciting weekend, we hope you can join us!
In Faith,
Rev. Amanda
