Lost and Found

Summer has begun slipping into Fall. We have just begun to have some cooler mornings, and the bright sunshine is tempered by costal clouds and cool breezes. The butternut squash in the garden is getting ripe while the cucumbers at the science center are producing like they’ll never quit. It’s a lonely time of year with the families back in school routines and the days growing slowly shorter.
Through the change in seasons, we are reminding ourselves to focus on the small joys and gratitude. These skills help us on the tough days when headlines and sad news threaten to overwhelm us. This week we are continuing our sermon series on Faith over Fear. With the twin stories of the lost sheep and lost coin found in the gospel of Luke.
We hope you are finding joy, peace, love and gratitude in your life. All are welcome to join us Sunday.
In Faith,
Rev. Amanda
