Spirals of the Spirit

From attending the National Swedenborgian Annual Convention at the end of last month to family time off in July, I have really missed regular time in The Garden. I am looking forward to being back in full swing this week.

On Tuesday, I was present for Open Garden time which led to observations: Devoted volunteers welcomed and trained a new college student volunteer with such affirming instruction. I witnessed the harvest of the weekly produce bags purchased by the community (name program). The colors of summer veggies are truly a miracle! The dedicated compost team had smiles on their faces. And I had a lovely discussion about appreciation of God's animals. 

Since Pentecost we have had the Sermon Series: The Spirit is Moving. Let's MOVE, allow the spirit to move us, after hearing from Kings and Solomon's Dream, Corinthians and potential gifts of the Spirit and Swedenborg's ideas about influx. I can't wait to share the "Good News for the Earth" story about a young person who has invented something to help the ocean!
