The Air We Breathe

In my first year with the Garden Church Rev. Anna told me that for us at the Garden Church Earth Day is a High Holy Day. Each year for now 11 years we have hosted a special service close to Earth Day. This year we are thrilled to host again with our San Pedro Faith Consortium community. Sunday's service at 4pm will include speakers from the Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist and Christian traditions. Sunday is also the 40th anniversary of Chernobyl. With that in mind the planning team has selected a theme of air for our focus this year. We are very blessed to worship in open air with our interfaith siblings as we mark this High Holy Day in our church tradition and share together our gratitude for the earth we share. We hope to see you in the garden!
