We've had a cool spring so far in the garden. Bright sunshine meets cool air for a pleasant mix which also means we're never quite sure if we need sleeves or not. The plants are loving the change to longer days and more sun as we put in the summer crops. This time of year and the coming summer months are busy in the garden. We often need extra hands. Saturday Open Garden is a great time to help out! Come find us at 429 W. 6th St. from 9am-11am every Saturday. Later this month is the Feed and be Fed Fundraiser. We hope you can join us on Saturday, May 30th 5pm-8pm for an unforgettable night in the garden. Tickets are available here.
Sunday is Mother's Day. In addition to our annual celebration of everyone who is a mother, has a mother or who has mothered or been mothered, we'll also continue our sermon series on Good News. Reflecting on the cosmos and our place in it as beloved children of God, we'll spend time thinking about God's Cosmic Love.
We hope you can join us in the garden this weekend!
In Faith,
Rev. Amanda
